Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility

Educational qualification :

Sailor (General Duty) – Must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized Board of School Education (COBSE).
Sailor (Domestic Branch) – Must have passed 10th class from recognized Board of Education (COBSE).
Mechanical Posts – 10th class pass from Board of Education recognized by the Council of Board of School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio / Power) Engineering of 03 or 04 years duration approved by All India Technical Council Education (AICTE) or its equivalent qualification.

Age Limit:

Applicant’s minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 22 years, relaxation of 05 years for SC / ST category and 03 years for OBC category has been prescribed in the maximum age limit.

It is mandatory for the candidate to be present at the time of interview / skill test and written test along with the original copy of the following records.

Application Fee:

The candidate has to deposit the prescribed fee while submitting the application form for different categories which is as follows –

SC / ST category candidates are free.
For all other category candidates – ₹ 250

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and interview.

Salary :

Sailor: up to ₹ 21,700 per month.
Mechanical: up to ₹ 29,200 per month.
